The Senior Pastor, DUNAMIS International Gospel Centre, worldwide, Dr Paul Enenche has pledged partnership and support to the management of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO) to ensure the development of institution.
The Senior Pastor made the pledge when he paid a courtesy visit on the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Stephen Abah on Thursday, ahead of DUNAMIS 2024 December crusade in Otukpo Local Government Area (LGA), of Benue state.
Eneche said DUNAMIS is interested in partnering with the management of the institution to making it outstanding, both in advocacy and direct involvement in terms of project execution to grow the University.
He stressed that for the institution to be domiciled in Otukpo, Benue State, Nigeria calls for an ovation and respect for the Federal Government and as such he would make personal contributions to help the school achieve the purpose of its establishment.
The Medical Doctor turned Pastor stated that the citing of FUHSO, which is a special institution, in Benue South senatorial district is an excitement to the Idoma nation and the country as a whole. He admonished the people not to dash the opportunity given to them on the altar of greed and selfishness.
Pastor Enenche who appreciated the founders of the health institution, promised to write his name in gold in the institution for posterity just as he called on others to join hands to mould the only University in the senatorial district to a world-class status.
Earlier, the Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof Stephen Abah, briefed the visitor on the journey of FUHSO, re-echoed his administration’s mantra which is “FUHSO FIRST” and called on all and sundry to key in and add value to the already established good foundation laid by the pioneer Vice Chancellor, Professor Innocent Ujah.
Abah, a professor of Community Medicine and Public Health presented Pastor Enenche with a plaque as FUHSO ambassador. Accompanied by principal officers, management of the University and the leadership of its Teaching Hospital, the Chief Medical Director, (CMD), FUHSTHO – Professor Teddy Agida, the VC took the visitor round the University facilities at the G.R.A. and Otada Campuses in Otukpo.
