Former governors of Kano and Cross River states: Mallam Ibrahim Kwankwaso and Donald Duke, respectively, were at the Abeokuta residence of former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, on Saturday.
Kwankwaso announced this on his X-handle page that they were in Abeokuta on a courtesy call on the former Nigerian leader, and engaged in meaningful discussions on the Nigerian nation.
He explained that their deliberations focused primarily on national issues and the future of politics in the country.
Kwankwaso said: “I was pleased to be in company of my friend, HE Donald Duke and other associates to pay a courtesy call on President Olusegun Obasanjo at his residence in Abeokuta.
“Deliberations on significant national issues, including the future of politics and governance in Nigeria defined.”
Details of their deliberations were unknown to newsmen at the time of filing this report.
