Special Adviser on Public Communication to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Daniel Bwala, has stated that the President is currently focused on fulfilling his promises to Nigerians and is not distracted by discussions surrounding the 2027 succession.
Bwala emphasised that President Tinubu’s priorities are centred on addressing the challenges facing Nigerians, such as alleviating hunger and driving agricultural revolution.
He noted that the time for politics has not yet come, but when it does, they will be ready.
He made this statement on Wednesday while speaking with journalists at the All Progressives Congress (APC) national secretariat.
“Well, for now, Mr President is focused on governance, delivering on the mandate and the promises to the Nigerian people, and he has refused to be distracted by political talk ahead of 2027.
“He is very focused on issues that concern the Nigerian people, to make sure that people come out of hunger, to make sure that agriculture brings about the expected revolution, and to make sure that our people are able to deal with their everyday problems,” he stated.
