Police have arrested a person following stories of gunfire at two companies in Liverpool on Wednesday evening.
Merseyside officers had warned residents to remain indoors whereas they searched the town for a suspect seen at Showcase Cinema de Lux and a close-by store.
‘‘At round 8.50pm officers obtained a report that pictures had been fired at Showcase Cinemas on East Lancashire Highway after a person entered the premises carrying a firearm,’’ the pressure mentioned.
