Alleged N110bn fraud: Court remands Yahaya Bello, others in EFCC custody

Justice Maryanne Anenih of the High Court of the Federal Capita Territory (FCT) today (Wednesday) reserved ruling in the bail applications of the former governor Yahaya Adoza Bello and two other defendants till December 10.

The judge subsequently ordered that the three defendants be remanded in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) till ruling on their bail applications.

This followed their arraignment on a 16-count charge bordering on alleged breach of trust to the tune of over N130 billion.
