Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Ododo, has approved the appointment of the Chairman and Permanent Members of the Kogi State Secondary Education Board.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Dr. Folashade Arike Ayoade.
According to the statement, those appointed include Dr Habiba Suleiman as Chairman, while Paul Peter Jibrin will represent Kogi East as Permanent Member I.
Others appointed are Hussaini Ada Alhassan, Permanent Member II representing Kogi West, and Adambe Otaru, Permanent Member representing Kogi Central.
The appointment is subject to confirmation by the State House of Assembly.
The statement further noted that the appointment is part of the current administration’s commitment to repositioning secondary education in the state.
The Governor congratulated the appointees and urged them to bring their wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of their duties.
