The normal ruler of Owa Kingdom, in Ika North East Native Authorities Space of Delta State, His Royal Majesty, Dr Emmanuel Efeizomor II, has revoked an age-long curse positioned on the “Ogbe-Ohun quarter” by his father.
Ogbe-Ohun Quarter, a piece of Owa Oyibu, was alleged to have challenged the authorities and powers of the rapid previous King of Owa, Obi Efeizomor I and brought on some hardship for the dominion.
Following the event, the king and the whole group of Owa laid a curse on the Ogbe-Ohun Quarter for denigrating the crown and bringing the title of the king to disrepute.
Members of the Elders Council had condemned the motion of those that lied in opposition to Obi Efeizomor I, relating to it as sacrilegious and an affront to the then monarch, because the image of the native authority.
The normal rites of dispelling the age-long ancestral curse had been carried out within the presence of the Council of Elders and numerous the group’s little children.
The spokesman of the Ogbe-Ohun Quarter, Mr Samuel Chukwuka Ogboi, on the gathering within the palace, lamented that the folks of the quarter had suffered untold hardships, nice misfortunes and afflictions on account of the curse.
