The Action Alliance (AA) has urged the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Federal Government to give the current economic policies being implemented by the government a human face.
The party also sympathised with Nigerians on the current hardship being experienced by them as a result of the current administration’s economic policies.
Rising from the South West zonal meeting of the party held in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, the party called on the federal government to show empathy in its actions and policy implementation strategies.
The national chairman of the party, Hon. Adekunle Rufai Omoaje, who presided over the meeting, appealed to Nigerians to remain unperturbed in the face of the current economic challenges.
He bemoaned the current prices of essential commodities in the country, saying that the astronomical increase in the prices of essential commodities was unfortunate.
Omoaje noted that the hardship in the country has continued to bite harder on the common people, hence the need for the federal government to intervene urgently.
He stressed the need for immediate action by the federal government so as to ameliorate the sufferings of the Nigerian people.
The AA national chairman assured that the party will continue to strategise in its bid to take over the reins of government at the centre.
