A Nigerian lady has shocked users online after she recounted the numerous ways her ex-boyfriend, “Yinka from Abeokuta“ caused her pain and heartache while they were still dating.

In a post she made to X (Twitter) the lady listed out 19 different things the ex-boyfriend had done to her, during their time together.

In the post, she hinted that what she had written wasn’t all he had done to her and that was still more. Her list has resonated with many women who shared their own experiences, speaking of their own ‘Yinkas’ who had left them battered and broken after the relationship ended due to how they were treated.

Despite all she had been through, the lady asserted that she was now healed and ready to take on another ‘Yinka.’ Her post read;

“I’m healed now. Send me another YINKA from Abeokuta who was born, raised, and now lives in Lagos.

– The kind who takes hours to reply to my texts with just ‘how far,’ yet chats with his ex and other women non-stop.

– The one whose phone isn’t on DND but ignores my calls without checking why I’m reaching out.

– The one who can talk for two hours straight only when he wants me to come over, then goes silent until he needs me again.

– The one who begs his ex to talk to him, even when she’s cursing and rejecting him.

– The one who excuses his chats with his married ex by calling it ‘Okafor’s Law,’ even though she has kids.

– The one who spends time with random women, including his employees.

– The one who lets me rest my head on his chest but texts his ex saying he’s lonely.

– The one whose family and friends know me, but he insists we’re just friends even after we started dating.

– The one who loves showing me off but has never bought me a single outfit.

– The one who hasn’t given me a simple gift in five years.

– The one who can cover his friends’ bills but has only ever given me a few thousand.

– The one who complains about any gift I buy him.

– “The one who gets upset because I have male friends.

– The one glued to his phone, watching Instagram reels and TikTok lives, and even sending gifts to streamers, but forgets to say hi until he wants intimacy.

– The one who has never said ‘I love you’ and, when I say it, just smiles and tells me to ‘calm down.’

– The one who was attentive as a friend but turned cold once we started dating.

– The one who asked me to ‘try harder’ to make him love me.

– The one who, when I finally sent a breakup message, replied with just ‘lol.’

– The one who constantly reminded me we come from different worlds, hoping I’d tire and leave on my own.”

I’ll stop here, for now. But, if life has another Yinka in store, let’s see.”
