Iran has declared that Israeli’a latest attack on its territory late Friday, only caused ‘limited damage’.
This was after Israeli strikes hit the country with multiple explosions.
The Islamic nation said its air defence system successfully tracked and countered Israel’s “aggression.”
It said, however, there was limited damage caused to some locations, Reuters reports.
Iranian air defences said Israel attacked military centres in the provinces of Tehran, Khuzestan and Ilam.
Arogidigba Global Journal reports that the Israeli military said on Saturday it had completed its air attack on Iran, and that it hit missile manufacturing facilities, surface-to-air missile arrays and other aerial capabilities across several areas of the country.
The military said in a statement: “Based on intelligence, IAF [air force] aircraft struck missile manufacturing facilities used to produce the missiles that Iran fired at the state of Israel over the last year.”
