The President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, has joined other dignitaries and personalities to congratulate the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, on his 50th birthday.
In a statement on Saturday, the CAN President said the monarch’s rule has been characterised by a profound commitment to peace, cultural preservation, and the upliftment of the people, adding that the occasion also marked not only the passage of time but his impact as a first-class traditional ruler.
Okoh further described the Ooni as a beacon of hope and unity for the nation, adding that his efforts to foster interfaith harmony and intercultural cooperation resonated deeply with CAN’s mission.
He prayed that God would bless the monarch with wisdom, strength, and the grace to lead his people with integrity and purpose, while also praying for more years of good health and fulfillment for the Ooni
