The caretaker chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State, Chief Tony Okocha, has said that no politician in the state, including the governor, can dismantle the political structure of the Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike.
He stated this on Thursday while addressing journalists in Abuja.
His words: “I don’t see any politician in the next 10 years torpedoing Wike’s structure, not even one. Like I said, I am not God, but I am talking about what is within human possibilities. From what I can see, it is not possible. Not so soon.
“The structure is embedded in the 23 LGAs of the state and they are “can-do-men” and women. They are not the type of people who follow because of reward so to speak. They are ardent, unrepentant supporters, believers; 10 of Governor Fubara and his antics will not go 30 per cent into destroying Wike’s structure.”
Asked when Wike is joining APC, Okocha said: “Wike has never told anybody he wants to be a member of APC. Wike cannot be swayed from his membership and support for PDP.”
