The Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun has inaugurated its newly elected executive to steer the affairs of the party in the state.

Arogidigba Global Journal reports that the executives who would run the affairs of the party for the next three years were elected at the last congress held in September.
The chairman caretaker committee, Dada Awoleye, while handing over the certificate of return to the new chairman, Abayomi Tella, encouraged the excos to do all it can to secure the party victory in the next elections.
Awoleye also tasked the executives with bringing the state’s disgruntled party members together, maintaining that the party’s success depends on its togetherness.
Giving his acceptance speech. Abayomi Tella assured that the executives would do all they can to rejuvenate and reposition the party for 2027.
Tella, who maintained that there are no factions in the party, urged aggrieved members to return to their roots.
He said, “In the face of the law that created the party called PDP and in the compliance of that a congress is done and it is the legal congress every other one is a nullity.
“Twins born the same day with the same umbilical cord have differences and where we have interests, there would be differences but the ability to manage those interests is the major thing here and I think we’ve started.
” I have a team who is ready to go. We are going with that spirit to meet our people even those in the other party who are currently suffering and smiling to tell them ‘come we built this party together so come back’.
