The Centre for Black and African Arts and Civilization (CBAAC) has held a strategic meeting with the National Assembly to explore potential collaborations and advance CBAAC’s mandate to promote Black and African cultural heritage, preserve African legacy, and encourage cultural excellence
The CBAAC team, led by its Director-General, Aisha Adamu Augie, during a courtesy visit to the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Public Procurement, Rt. Hon. Unyime Idem, emphasised CBAAC’s commitment to showcasing Africa’s rich cultural diversity, fostering unity, and promoting cross-cultural understanding.
Idem thanked the team for the visit and expressed support for the initiatives to enhance cultural preservation strategies, artistic projects and exhibitions and community development initiatives.
