Katsina state governor, Dikko Radda joined his Jigawa state counterpart, Umar Namadi to commission education facilities and a new Juma’at Mosque at Jahun town, the headquarters of Jahun local government area in Jigawa state.
Radda who was the guest of honour at the commissioning ceremony, called on the Muslim faithful to be united and pray for God’s intervention in the current insecurity of the country.
The governor appealed to all Nigerians to be their brothers’ keepers in respective of religious beliefs and united against any act of criminality and Nigeria’s disintegration.
Radda also enjoyed the parents and guardians to pays extra attention on their children and wards education of both religion and modern education for better future of the children and the society.
He commended the Jigawa state governor, Malam Umar Namadi and the philanthropy who builds the mosque and education facilities attached to the mosque for the selfless services and honouring and inviting him to commission the learning worshipping centers.
Governor Radda joint other Muslims faithful observed Jumaat prayer marking the commissioning of the new mosque and educational facilities had in accompanied by his host governor of Malam Umar Namadi, Emir of Dutse, Alhaji Mohammed Hameem Sanusi, the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Katsina State, Hon. Abdullahi Jabiru Tsauri, Principal Private Secretary to the Katsina State governor, Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji and other top government functionaries grace the occasion.
Governor Radda beseeched the significance of the gathering to pray for peace and lasting tranquility in the North and Nigeria at large.
