…unveils logo, manisfesto to Nigerians
A new political party, Team New Nigeria (TNN), is seeking to be registered by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), having completed all the necessary requirements requested by the commission.
This was contained in a statement issued by Mohammed Adah Shaibu, the spokesman of the TNN, which was made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Friday.
The statement noted that the National Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees unanimously agreed on a logo, slogan, motto, and acronym for the new party.

“With this milestone achievement, the journey to the new Nigeria of our collective dreams has just commenced,” the statement stressed.
“The acronym is TNN, the slogan is GREATER NIGERIA, and the motto is UNITE AND REBUILD THE NATION,” the statement said.
The party’s constitution and manifesto will be launched in April 2025 during the National Conference in Abuja.
The President of the TNN, Modibbo Yakubu Farakwai, averred that the association has painstakingly and thoroughly satisfied all registration requirements expected from the TNN by the INEC to register a new political party.
“The TNN President has earlier inaugurated the following committees: Legal and Constitutional Compliance Committee, with Professor Muhammad Zakari Yaro as Chairman, and Political Management Committee, with Professor Silva Opuala-Charles as Chairman.
Other committees were the Contact and Mobilisation Committee, with Alhaji Omar Yusuf Aiyelabegan as Chairman; Finance Committee, with Dr Adebayo Akin-Omotuyi as Chairman; Publicity Committee, with Dr Mohammed Adah Shaibu as Chairman; Structure Committee, with Professor Iheanacho Agboti as Chairman; Conference Committee, with Professor Waziri Garba Dahiru as Chairman; and Membership Registration and Harmonisation Committee, with Senator Ibrahim Muhammad as Chairman.
The objective of these committees is to prepare the TNN for party registration, and these committees have satisfactorily concluded their assignments.
