As part of efforts to support pilgrims in performing an accepted Hajj this year, Gezawa Local Government has distributed financial assistance of 100 Saudi Riyals to each of its 56 intending pilgrims.
The Chairman of the Gezawa Local Government, Alhaji Mukaddas Bala Jogana, while presenting the cash support, said that the gesture is part of the government’s commitment to ensuring the pilgrims perform a successful and accepted Hajj.

He urged the pilgrims to remain steadfast in praying for the progress, peace, and stability of the country, the state, and the Gezawa Local Government.
The Zonal information officer Gezawa zone, Jamilu Mustapha Yakasai,made this known in a statement signed and made available to press in Kano.
Mukaddas also appreciated the pilgrims for their commitment during the orientation exercises conducted for them, which he said would help them greatly during the pilgrimage.
Some of the pilgrims expressed their gratitude to the local government for the support and pledged to be good ambassadors of Gezawa during the Hajj.
