The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) is set to hold its second plenary to discuss matters of the Catholic faith and the nation.
No fewer than 180 Reverend Fathers are expected to attend the plenary scheduled to commence on Thursday at the Auchi Catholic Diocese in Edo State.
The Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee of the event, Rev. Fr. Peter Egielewa, announced this in a statement in Benin.
He quoted the Bishop of Auchi Diocese, Dr. Gabriel Dunia as saying that “the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria is the highest decision-making body of the Catholic Church in Nigeria”.
