A tragic road accident in Chiromawa Village, Garun Mallam Local Government Area of Kano State, claimed the lives of 15 people and left 10 others injured on Thursday.

The incident was revealed in a post by security analyst Zagazola Makama on Friday.

According to intelligence sources cited by Makama, the accident occurred around 3:20 p.m. and involved a white Toyota Liteace bus with registration number NSR 188 KP, carrying 25 passengers, and a blue Daf trailer with registration number KMC 158 XW, which was parked by the roadside.

“The bus driver lost control and crashed into a stationary trailer, resulting in multiple casualties,” Makama wrote.

Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and transported the victims to Kura General Hospital.

Sadly, the bus driver and 14 passengers were confirmed dead on arrival, while the remaining 10 passengers are currently receiving treatment for various injuries.

Authorities have yet to release an official statement.
