No fewer than 115 medical doctors that graduated from the Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Ekpoma have been inducted into the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
Arogidigba Global Journal reports that the medical doctors graduated in the 2019/2020 set.
The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Asomwan Sonnie Adagbonyin, made the disclosure during the induction of 24 new medical doctors by MDCN.
Adagbonyin said 91 medical doctors of the same academic session had earlier been inducted by the council.
“A total of 24 medical doctors will be inducted. When we add this to the 91 medical doctors earlier inducted in Batch A of this 17th Set, we have a total of 115 medical doctors inducted in this single Set,” he said
He, however, enjoined the fresh doctors to discharge their duties creditably to the nation and mankind, whether in public or private practice.
He also advised the inducted medical doctors to always remember to uphold the highest ethical standards through the Hippocratic Oath.
“Remember, your role extends beyond the clinic; it includes community care, preventive health, and public health advocacy. Your dedication is essential for the well-being of our society,” he added.
