The Nigeria Police Force has concluded arrangements for the graduation of 10,000 recruit constables from various training institutions nationwide.
Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, announced that the passing-out ceremony will take place on Thursday, 23rd January 2025, across four police colleges and 12 training schools, with Inspector-General of Police Kayode Egbetokun serving as the reviewing officer.
According to Adejobi, the recruits have undergone rigorous physical and mental training, equipping them to tackle Nigeria’s complex security challenges while adhering to the rule of law.
“The IGP expresses confidence that these new officers will exhibit professionalism, integrity, and dedication to service, thereby upholding the honour and prestige of the Police Force,” Adejobi said.
The recruits will be deployed to various state commands to bolster local policing efforts and enhance community safety. Their deployment is expected to strengthen police units, improve crime response, and foster better relations between the police and the communities they serve.
